Metaphysical Truths  *

God is everything and therefore in everything.

God is love and light and life

dwelling in all and comprising all. There is nothing that is outside of God.

We are one.

“what you do to the least of these you do unto me”, is literal. Look within and see the entire universe. It is not just figuratively enchanting: it is. From my perspective, it is consistent with the hindu idea that looking inside a child one can see the entire universe and yet from the outside only a child. It is consistent with Christian belief in a Spirit. It is consistent with the Tao as one life force in us all.

No one is better than I. Nor am I better than any other.

“Better” is subjective and even though I may be able to run a race faster and can be said to be a “better” runner, when you look at yourself as a spiritual being, there is not one with less worth, or potential to fullfill their personal truth right now.

Stay humble. judge not lest ye be judged. There are very few absolutes, like an absolute wrong or absolute right. What you do to the least of these you do unto me (metaphysically and literally).

What you resist persists

(the world is a mirror of what is inside us… What we condemn in others we are sure to have the capacity for within ourselves. Often the case is that we express what we condemn in others.) Newtons 3rd law: For every action there is a equal and opposite reaction.

A soul, like God, cannot be diminished, doesn’t have gender and is timeless.

I can do nothing without god.
God will do nothing without me.

(I can do nothing without god)… not even move farther from him, or lift a finger or open an eye. I am the chooser and he is the wind beneath my wings. Like a parent that loves a child, the parent lets the child make mistakes and take bumps and in the end ensures the safety of the child and dusts them off and takes them home like shephard and the lost sheep… do you value the each sheep without judgement as surely god does?).

Time does not exist.

time is a lack of omniscience (perspective).
Similarly: evil does not exist: evil is an absence of love and
cold does not exist: it is an absence of warmth/molecular movement.

Passing On

I don’t believe in death but rather the soul dropping the ‘clay vessel’ and moving on. God goes after the lost sheep and carries it in his arms back to his fold. He picks us up after our journey here and shakes off the dust of our earthly vessel and like a smiling mother gently brushes the dirt off our faces so she can see our true selves. Then we feel the relief and freedom from the yoke of our burdens.

With unconditional love, no matter the perceived transgressions, a father/mother can welcome their child back with open arms (the wasteful son/prodigial son). How much more can you imagine god would do for his children. If you can imagine something better, don’t you think god can? And if god can imagine something better don’t you think he would be .. that?

We will all go to heaven/next stage of living

Life is continuous. A single body of scintillating souls. I am willing to share the next life with everyone, so can’t you imagine a God even greater that wants all his children back and will patiently wait until they choose to come back (eternally)

Daily Life

If it doesn’t help to believe something then believe something that does help/sustain/support/enhance/build-up.

*  Possibly the most important guiding principle, because it has been the most helpful. I have felt the freedom to choose belief based on my truth and I wish this freedom for everyone.

I have 2 abilities as a spiritual being/soul/consciousness and only 2.

I am able to
1. Choose (thoughts, actions, feelings)
2. Observe (sensory input, mental images/thoughts)

A concept of Self that doesn’t include an ego is helpful.
How to tell if I’m directed by my Ego? It is usually the case if you feel you are withholding, controlling, preventing and resisting in general.
How to tell if you are surrendered? It is usually the case if you are helping others, working as hard as your body allows, enjoying, allowing, accepting, taking in. If you are giving without the concept of losing. Letting your little light shine brightly.

Only in surrender and giving do we then receive.

You can try to force it and control things so you will receive but it just doesn’t work

Both are good

We cannot see the forest for the trees. The fractal that is our lives has a beauty from another perspective. Judge (it) not. Judge nothing but your own choices and choose freely each time.

If you are not helping, you are hurting.

do no harm buddhist philosophy: On the surface it would seem that doing nothing keeps us from hurting others, but when you look deeper we see that do no harm is really the same as do unto others as you would have done unto you. This would be true if it is implied that both doing nothing is unacceptable and that one needs to be aware of the wants and needs of those around us. These two concepts are further explained.

Ignoring someone is the most hurtful, which is equivalent to the most extreme in-action, therefore doing nothing is hurtful. The ignorred child will be the most psychologically damaged child (book excerpt explaining this effect., there have been many experiments that show the hurtful effect of inattention to people).

If you want to help someone without hurting it is necessary to ask that someone what they think would be helpful, for it is not for us to judge what others need. If we serve others as kings/queens, if we are our brother’s keeper and feel responsibility for the well being of our fellow humans, we will all thrive.

Early to bed and early to rise makes a human healthy, wealthy and wise.

Uh… I believe it but I’m not always true to it. Humans have such a hard time being consistent because we are distracted by the world around us so easily. Sitting in silence is the cure.

*  NOTE: all truths are relative to one person’s perspective, although there is a common truth amongst all humanity, some of which may be found here. The intention is to present my personal truths based on personal experience. It is not to impose or suggest that this is a truth for any others. These ideas help me to live my life with confidence and if anything within them is helpful for others that is an added bonus.
